Just bought a check strap from the main dealer, I thought if i removed the door card on the door I could access the check strap underneith it, but it seems to be right inside the door Confused how do i access it ?

i must admit when i use search so much stuff comes up thats nothing to do with what i search.

but im no good at searching for stuff even on google lol

Ugh, think im going to leave that task for another time then, thought it was just a matter of removing the door card and replacing the strap!

It's really not a big job, it sounds a lot worse than it is. Just remember that the white foam membrane behind the door card is not only for sound proofing but more importantly it also keeps the water that runs into the door from around the window from entering the cabin. I used builders silicon to reattach mine as the sticky edge had lost it's adhesion a long time previous.

I agree with you on that. It doesn't help the search when people just put a thread title of "HELP" or "NOISE"
Maybe if the thread titles reflected what the thread was about, then more people would use the search function.
