anyone know what the button on the left is for on my speedo? not the trip one

public.servicebox.peug..._en_us.htm Unfortunately I don't have a clue what car you are going on about but I'll hazard a guess as it's a 206 forum that you have a Peugeot 206. Year and model is a bit more difficult to guess at, but you should find the answer in the above link.

RTFM macca1411 - the OP has a multiplexed car, I bet the OP has been pressing the button & cant work out what it actualy does yet
