Hello, at the weekend I recplaced the head gasket on my 1.4 2001 206.
When putting it back together, I was a bit confused about some issues with the timing belt tensioner pully.
As in the picture you can see the hole used to bolt this pully in place is offset to one side, so as you rotate, it pushes more or less against the timing belt. I was expecting this to be sprung, like the tensioner on the auxillary belt. Is it meant to be ?
My problem is that I can fully Rotate this pully around the offset hole, and at its tightest, the timing belt is not that tight, not as I exepected.
Am I missing something here ?
