Pre plex are simple - Change the headlamp stalk to GTI double optic spec OR get Lee to tweak your original stalk.
No need for w**ky adaptors or wiring relays in, the secret is in the headlamp stalk

so i can plug the crystals straight into the h7 plugs that are tucked up behind the wings and swap just the light stalk for a gti one and they will work spot on?

Yes
Non plexed 206's are so simple to convert
The dipped & main beam relays are both already there, its just the way the different headlamp stalks control them that is the issue
Lee does do a stalk conversion service if you want to keep the original stalk but he is on holiday.

The stalks look the same. I just modify the circuit board
