Getting a new boot for my car as the colour on mine is fading a little and with all the wires and that how do you go about removing and replacing it?

Thanks

I think the harness connection block is near the back light. Disconnect it and pull up through the rear pillar to the roof line, then feed it through so it is out of the vehicle. Disconnect the rear wash/wipe water supply tube. Undo the lifting struts and get a mate to help hold the tailgate steady, finally undo the bolts holding the tailgate to the main body.

To refit, just do it in reverse.

easy to do but would recommend to be a two man job.

I just cut the wires and re wired them with bullet connectors.

Just look for the nuts holding it on and undo Smile

You DON'T cut wires, there's a connector plug behind the trim panel in the boot for the tailgate wiring, unplug it.
