Right, ive had this problem since ive had the car. Everytime i turn left doing say over 10mph, and hit a small bump/pothole in the road i get a bit of a knock and a weird squeeling noise. Sounds a bit like a seal? lol!

Also if turning a bit hard at speed (30mph) the car doesnt feel safe atall

I replaced the drop links this morning and the track rod ends look fine, and the noise is still haunting me!!

Could it the be top mounts making it do this? Anything else i should consider?

Thanking you.

Get it checked before replacing it.

Just replace them if it's worn, not too expensive

Wishbones look ok, Just checked the driveshaft and It was all oily, wiped it clean took it for a spin and there's oil again? But would a drive shaft be making a noise like that going over an uneven road?

sounds like the cv boot has split if the oil/grease is near the wheel.

also did you jack your car up and put a bar inbetween the hub and the ball joint to check for play? as just looking at it won't show any faults

There's oily stuff at the gearbok end of the driveshaft, and yes no play in the ball joint atall.

Could still be the wishbone though, theother 2 bushes tend to go. Mine had one of the front bushes shot causing it to knock on hard acceleration and sound like the car was about to fall to bits over any rough stuff off the throttle.
I could't fault it until I got it on the ramps at my local garage where I could get a pry bar in it and compare it to the other side.
