Hello everybody,

Well its my first peugeot 206 and its a 1.4 LX V reg. Well today i was just fiddling around with the clock dash. And i decided to remove the dash (i was bored and trying to waste some time waiting for somebody Shocked ) anyway i removed the dashboard of the clock and hazard light. however i didnt remove any wiring. I put the dash cover back on and it all clicked in place. when i started the car, the clock light didnt come on. Ive searched around google etc but i havent found any useful advice.

Could somebody please help me?

Thank you in advance.

may have simply disturbed the bulb somehow, take the top off again, with the ignition on wiggle bulb in back see if it flick on or anything.

a simple test to know if its the bulb or/and display not working is to shine a torch on the screen, if you see the time slightly then the bulb is not working.

to hazzard a guess id say you disconnected somthing by mistake undo and check connections or you broke something Shocked and need new display but id do it loose before connecting and see if it flicks on when having a wiggle

pull the cover back off, undo the two torx screws holding the clock in, pull it forward, twist the bulb until it comes out, twist the new bulb in and reassemble.

I'm in great Barr so about 5 mins on the m5/m6

Yeah you'll need a torx screw set if owning a 206, all interior parts are held on by them basically

Problem Solved!

Torx screwdriver £2.99
LED Bulb £1

thinking about it the led bulb was a rip off! but the time i wasnt paying much attention.
It took me around 15minutes but in the end i got it. I was scared about breaking the circuitboard. But i pulled through and behold there is light with the clock.

Thank you to everyone much appreciated.
