All but L and Independence (basic trim) Peugeot 206s already come with remote central locking, don't they?

yes - I installed a central locking kit first and then a remote kit afterwards - it's all in here with pics:

I should add that I installed the kits over a year and a half ago and still working fine with no problems

Thats great sounds promising, how easy was it to fit, with all the wiring etc, unfortunately mine doesn't have it as the car was cheap Embarassed

yep same here - my car was a cheapie cheap 1.1 without central locking or electric windows - was only supposed to be a temporary transport solution but I found this site when looking for an answer to an indicator problem and got hooked on this modding lark so kept the car on as a hobby

easy enough to fit - a long afternoon's work if you have an idea of what your doing. assuming you don't have electric windows either then you can try this next:
