Hi everyone,

I'm having problems with my 206, it is a 2004 206 1.4 S Automatic.

It sometimes (less then half the time) when starting the car it revs all the way up to 2000 rpm's then drops to 100 and cuts off. Sometimes it won't cut off and idle at roughly 1000 rpm's and it will be fine.

If I restart the car it be fine and rev up to the normal 1200 rpm's and stay idle around the 900/1000 rpm's.

It's never stalled while driving and braking. Only seems to happen when I start the car.

Any help or advice would be helpful.

Thanks Very Happy

UPDATE:

The car does rev up high again, doesnt always stall but nearly does.

I've noticed it pretty much does it all the time when it is really windy.

Any advice appreciated, cheers.
