What's the difference? Both 1.6 diesel engine, both give out 110bhp but why is one insurance group 8 and one 11? They're both tax band D

Help?! Thanks

Its the same engine but different trim levels - the hdi gti gets the same kit as a petrol gti 138 - leather seats, nimrods and probably better suspension/brakes which I guess warrants a higher insurance group! But as Copey said, dont buy one they are unreliable!

They're fine if you de-fap them and fit a SMF when the clutch goes

Incorrect on the running gear, its only the trim level that differs.

According to auto trader that's what power they deliver? What's the best diesel 206 to buy then because I need something more economical for my job?

Thanks

206 gti hdi. Loved my old one. Just make sure your sort the clutch out first, and remove the DPF. If you dont, you will have endless problems, including the famous "unblock diesel filter" message on your dashboard...

2.0 hdi is bulletproof, been proven to do 400K + miles if looked after & only 2 known issues that Peugeot / Citroen have already solved with upgraded parts.

Bottom crank pulley & the engine cover clips.

1.4 hdi is slightly better on fuel but they like to go wrong.

1.6 hdi is like owning a hand grenade with the pin removed Laughing

Toyota C-HR GR Sport 2.0 Hybrid with JBL & Alcantara packs.
