Has anyone else had a problem removing the rear light cluster on a SW? My reversing lights are not working. I've removed the two wing nuts, and pulled and pulled, should I give the bolts on the inside a little tap, I'm afraid to use too much force! The bottom one seems loose enough, however the top one seems welded.
BTW both sides are the same.
Advice appreciated.

Remove the 2 nuts and give a good pull or if really stuck push the bolts from the inside.
Nothing else holds them on will just be the seals sticking.

Ok, I'm owning up to having a blond/Irish moment.
Was trying to remove light clusters by just having the rear glass open. Was pulling like f***. Then I tried with the full door open and they just popped out. 
I've read about ongoing reversing light problems, can anybody point me in the right direction for threads regarding same? (the search facility on this site is a useful as a chocolate teapot).
The bulbs are fine, also noticed that the rear wiper isn't always triggered by choosing reverse, when the front wipers are on. Perhaps the switch??

Switch, relay or fuse?
Get a multimeter and check the voltage, make sure it's getting power.

Will do this tonight after work! It's not the fuse.
Is the switch easy to get at?

The switch is on the top of the gear box takes a bit of a contortionist act to get . Easiest with battery removed then do a continuity check on the switch.

UPDATE:
It's the switch alright, removed the battery and battery box, the switch is just underneath, put the meter on it, no joy.
need to get new one now.

Yes, at least I know now what the problem is, but I had to put it all back together as I dont have a replacement yet. So have to do it all again soon,
