A little tappet noise on start up from what appears to be only one tappet.

Have been told that other tappets are a better choice when replacing them

Anyone know which ones to use from 1.8 1.6 or 2.2 peugeot engines?

Has anyone replaced their tappets?
Easy job?

Ronnie

Just get new ones for the EW10. Once upon a time they suggested using them from the EW7 but that's not necessary now.
It's basically a cambelt job plus the whole belt cover, cam pulleys and cams need to come off.

Thanks for that Edward

Seems a big job for a little ticking noise when cold (turn the radio up or cure?)

Why were tappets used from the 307 rngine ? Was this an improvement over standard

Anyone have photos of the head with the cam cover off to see what's involved

Put it this way, it's not really a DIY job. Not one for the inexperienced.
