Welcome to the world of peugeot. The warning light are meant to come on first click. Does the car idle high when hot or just cold?

the engine will idle higher when cold. this is to prevent it from stalling. however if it is too high it maybe the coolant temp sensor is faulty

There's normally a reason why cars are for sale. I'd say in this case, the seller got the timing spot on......unlucky for you though, however all the faults are normally fixable, you need to keep a bit of cash to one side when you buy a secondhand car.

Yeah, it does seem you've been affected worse than you should have.

As for the listed faults....I'm not sure the lights staying on the dash on 1st and 2nd click is a fault, I think its normal for many of the warning lights to light then go out a few seconds after the engine is running (for bulb check, if nothing else, but normally a system test or in the case of the battery light, the alternator starting to excite and charge the battery once the engine is up to idle speed; or for the oil light, once oil pressure is up to normal).

Idle speed high - not sure

Turbo power has gone - could be a blocked or needing-replacement air filter, a collapsed baffle in the exhaust (don't think the 2 litres have a particle filter or cat?). If not something simple like this, then you're into doing a boost check and a compression test, which should give a useful pointer to where the fault lies.

Paul Cheers,

Will it cost much...
Cuz the turbo has only gone since he changed rad, he had to like take off the airfilter, well take it from the place it was sitting,
For the lights they do all go off after the cars started except abs
for the idle speed its annoying me lol

Cheers again paul

Scott

Its not possible to say how much it would cost until a little bit of diagnostic work is done. For example, a new air filter is cheap; an engine rebuild (if poor compression) is not.

The ABS is a worry because that's an MoT fail, as well as obviously your ABS possibly not working. It might be something as simple as a poor electrical connection on one of the wheel speed sensors, though. What year is your car, not sure if its OBD2 compatible but you should be able to read relevant fault codes off the ECU to give you a clue where to start looking for faults.
