I frequently drive through a village where 16 year old kids think its really funny to walk in the road when you are approaching 10 metres away from them, then laugh when you have slammed your brakes on to avoid hitting them, its very dangerous. So I'm thinking of something to teach the little sh*ts a lesson.

Has anyone ever fitted one of these?

Or even if you have changed the horn, I'd like to know how its done

edit: even better, the nautilus version www.youtube.com/watch?...re=related

I've bolted a klaxon horn to the inside of my grille using the radiator housing. Then fitted a push switch next to the airbag key slot, that would make em move!

Edit: also I used the ignition live from my radio to power it so it can't drain my battery if it malfunctions

Is it easy to fit? I'm looking for something that is plug and play

Where did you get them from?

The 206 already has a relay for the horn line which makes life easier when pluging-in
a high power horn.

I've fitted a Stebel horn on mine plug and play.
It's the low-tone one and sounds quite nice but not phenominaly loud or anything.

I would go for this tbh. www.ebay.com/itm/4-Tru...19c4f9b15b

Should the battery be disconnected when changing the horn?

A pair of air-horns will make them jump ...

Had to cut the wires to the original horn, but left that in place. So if we do take the air's out, can splice the connector back in. Comes with a compressor unit that I fitted to the radiator surround with plastic number plate screws and nuts. Used the existing wiring
as it was fed by a relay didn't need the one that came with the kit.

Fitted these to the HDi when my daughter had it .. Junction 4 of M40 is Handy Cross. Worse laid out roundabout anywhere I know and we're constantly getting cut-up by Chelsea tractors ...

The air horns say "get out the way!"

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Fitted a stebel nautilus to my motorbike, loud but nothing like as loud as a twin air horn. Two tone horn from a higher spec car should do the trick, just bite your lip and slow down for the kids - you know you'll be in deep s**t if you hit one of em.
Hasta la vista baby!
