I'm having a problem with the drivers seat the full seat will move forward and back for the legs to fit on but the problem is with the back part

It won't tilt forward or recline so I'm in a position I'm not comfortable in

Would anyone be able to advice on what it could possible be and if it's an easy fix or a garage job

It's the lever type not windy type and it's a 99 plate 206 gti

Cheers jonny

Try taking the lever off, there's one torx screw holding each side on. I had this problem before, the plastic on the lever had cracked on the inside so it wasn't turning the metal rod thing fully. Use a pliers to turn the metal rod and see if your seat moves Smile
