Hi all

Basically a mate of mines been offered a good deal on a 98 206 however its speedo needs fixing, anyone got a rough idea of the cost?

Depends whats exactly wrong with it & what diagnostic tests have been carried out to pin point the fault.

Could be the cluster
Could be the sensor
Could be a broken wire

Have the drivers door on the safety catch & drive up to 10mph, if the interior light starts flashing it means the speed sensor & wiring are fine & you have a instrument cluster fault.

If the interior light doesnt flash on test then its a speed sensor / wiring issue.

Wires can break at the big connector plug behind the passenger side wheel arch liner.
