Haynes manual identifies the screw locations - when I took mine out I removed glove-box, centre console and the panel at the end of the dashboard first for better access and to get some extra light in there - it's fiddly and you end up lying on your back in the footwell with a torch in your mouth

The airbag on the passenger side isnt a cover, its a whole airbag unit.

If thats what you meant.

If not sure its only about 5 screws and a plug you unclip

Undo the airbag connector and connect the terminals to a 9-14volt battery. That will remove it from it's casing

Pretty sure that the dash is wrecked if the passenger air bag does off. There isn't a seam around the cover so it will tear through it if it goes off.

If you are contemplating touching the airbag system, disconnect the battery and leave it for 15-20 mins to disarm itself.

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Cant believe you told somebody to do that with out stating its f*****g dangerous! do not put and voltage on to the airbag connections!

If they got hurt because of stupid a**e comments like that...f*****g retards.

This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!

Good thing about the 206 is the passenger airbag is just screwed / bolted on & easy / cheap to replace unlike a lot of cars where the whole dash needs replacing when the passenger airbag fires.

It honestly wouldnt bother you if someone did what you said (however stupid you may think it is) and seriously hurt themselves?

Not really. Should always use common sense before doing anything.
