Hey Guys,
Not made many posts on here, but I hope you guys can give me some advise as I really need it. Has my 206 for 6 weeks now. Its a 1.1 2004 model, and is my pride and joy!
This morning on my way to work, I noticed the Engine Management light come on, and then the acceleration started to drop, I was on the motorway and doing about 75. I moved into the slow lane, and started to downshift, as to keep my speed up, as 5th gear just wouldnt hold any speed. I went onto downshift into 3rd and managed to maintain a speed. When I got off the motorway to the roundabout I noticed that in low revs the car was juddering and sounding really rough to run. It kept cutting on idle and just wouldnt accelerate as it should. I dropped it in at the garage at the top of the road from work, and they replaced the coil pack, as it was issuing a misfire error on the ECU. They did this and it did not change it, and the mechanic went on to say that it is more than likely an issue with one of the injectors. I called out the AA and they towed me to the garage that I bought the car from as its still under warranty. The AA Guy code read my car with his nifty onboard computer and that read that it was a circuit issue on Injector 3. We explained this to my garage. They have just called me to say that they have replaced that injector but it hasnt fixed the issue, and they are going to replace them all tomorrow and see where they get from here.
Anyone got any ideas if this will fix it? Or what else the issue could be?
Sorry for such a long explanation but I think being thorough should help!
Thanks guys!

Mate, mine is currently suffering from EXACTLY the same.
I've replaced the coil pack with a part from another 206, didn't work. My Garage said it could've been an injector, but their computer would've picked it up if it was!
Will be trying new spark plugs tomorrow. They did remove and check all of the current ones, however they did admit that one (or more) could be breaking down inside. I'll let you know how that goes.
Please keep in touch, sounds like we have the exact same problems!

I saw your thread but I thought I would do a separate incase something different was going on. My garage are going to call tomorrow and tell me how they go on. The car has just not long been serviced by them so they 'should' have changed the plugs, but weather they have or not is anyones guess!

It depends what category or type of service they did mate!
I've only had my car for a month or so. The guy i bought it off got it serviced 'on the sly' if you like... "a mate of mine without a book stamp"... job?
Anyway, i doubt the plugs in mine have been changed for a while, so that's what i'll do! They looked fine in the garage, but the mechanic said he can't be sure what they're like on the inside.

I forgot you said it cuts out! Mine isn't cutting out at the moment, just a horrible misfire! Dont think it'll be long before it gives in though...
Plus it's drinking petrol like a fish right now! A tenner got me about 62 miles!

Why don't you just test the injectors before replacing them?

Mine only cut once, when it was in the garage!
And Lee, how can we do this? Could/would the garage have done it for us?

coil pack = 0.5-.66ohms between pins 1 & 4, and pins 2&4
Injectors 13-16 ohms between pins 1 and 6
