mine did that so new clucth. the pole bit that bearing sits on i had snaped that 2 lol

Pretty common issue on the 206 but normally its only the TU / MA combination that can eat its own clutch.

That is not comforting because when my car is idling it sounds like there is a helicopter in my gearbox. Thought maybe the garage would have noticed this when they took it to bits.

that looks better than mine was on my 180, mine was just shrapnel scattered all around the gearbox casing.
To be fair I knew mine was going for a full 2 weeks before I did anything about it so explains why it was in pieces.
