I have a knocking noise coming from the front end, but it only happens when I stop accelerating or start braking. I have a 2003 1.4 8v Quiksilver. Its done 116k. Cheers

More than likely an engine mount that busted.

ive got a wobble that i can feel all the time feels like its from the front wheels and sort of effects the steering too, mines done 127k

C.V joint, driveshafts and balljoints are all things u could check might be one of them engine mount was a good shout by D4NTP as well.

My dad thinks it sounds like something in the gearbox, like something is stuggling under engine braking. It only knocks at low speeds say 10mph, but anything over that it sounds more like a whining noise, kinda like a bearing.
