'52 plate 1.4HDI.
Now on 141000 miles.
Uses no oil and averages over 61mpg.
Runs really well and is rattle free.
Only electrical fault is the oddometer periodically changes to match the last 3 numbers of the mileometer.
Looks for large piece of wood to touch ................

Known BSI software bug.
Peugeot main dealer & get the BSI software updated if its annoying you.

54 Plate GTi, just hit 40k... I only realised the other day i have only done 7k miles a year in this car since ive owned it. According to the last 5 MOT's.

those 1.4 HDI engines where jointly designed by ford and citroen/peugeot. so on paper, providing the chassis and the woderfull french electronics last you should be able to touch 200,000+ if ya gentle with it
I have a 1.4 HDI just touched 89,000 last night. Want to get it to 200,000 providing I stop having turbo troubles.

1.1 on 110k ish now. Second engine is on about 50k because I blew the original block into tiny bits
