hi guys and girls i am going to adjust the handbrake on the cc tomorrow using this guide, it is multiplexed so if i am disconnecting the roof switches etc do i need to disconnect the battery thank you

why do you need to disconnect the battery when doing the brakes?

Sorry enlighten me what does a handbrake cable got to do with switches?

because the bsi or what ever it is and when messing with electrics sometimes you should disconnect the battery and i have the roof switch in the panel that needs to be removed so have to disconnect it

well i still don't quite get it but if you wish there is no harm to disconnect the battery.
but make sure you following the bsi shut down guide

Just leave the ignition switched OFF while the switch is unplugged.

how do you remove the window switches is it just unclipped the same way as the bck cover e.g. with a screw driver
