Central Locking not working

right pick up my GT yesterday and the central locking isnt working on any door the remote light flashes and I followed the instruction to programme it to car although the light didnt stop flashing, when I operate the remote I can hear what sounds like a rely buzzing.
I cannot see any blown fuses
what is the most likely cause
Door solenoid? or something more sinister that I need to look into

anyone any possible solutions cant use the car at present as I cant lock the boot although if I get deseperate I can always disconnect the boot release
