Still sounds good after 9 months standing.. Obviously needed jump starting and the EM light is on but pretty happy it's still got life in her.. Brakes feel s***ty now tho.. Just hope it survives another few months

I'd take that for a bloady good run get it nice and hot then drop all the oil out of it and do a filter change and top up with clean oil. Then change other service items such as spark plugs etc. Doesnt sound too bad if it has been sat for 9 months though.

That sounds weak.. As if someone has got a 1.1 and put a s***ty exhaust on it

I know all about bore wash, a lot of nebie big engined Jag owners have fell foul! Started their car from cold turned it straight off then it wont start again and has no compression.
Andy in simple terms its a flooded engine.
