Well had the car to peugeot today for a free 15 minute check on the fault light i had the other day and the anti polution warning!
Well i was expecting dpf needed, so have been searching to remove this!
But the technician commented on how tidy and sound the car is! no fap faults recorded...
he said it drives very well and couldn't find any thingg obviously wrong with the machanicals or suspension componants.
the ecu or eml light flashed up a fault with the actuator electrode. but he said the pipe from the actuator to the electrode was very soft and could be collapsing under vacuum, so they replaced it for free and reset the ecu. he also said no bsi faults had been recorded and that at this moment in time the dmf is perfectly ok.
needless to say i am a lot happier and the car does seem to pull better,,, is that just me knowing it has a new vacuum pipe though? who nows but i think it feels better so thats all that matters. any one would think this is my car,,, not my partners
