Daughters 53 plate 1.4 petrol 206, driving along when engine management light comes on with a bleeping sound
Not come across people mentioning the bleeping before ???
Parked for 5 minutes, start up again & running fine now!

Probably just the car having a hissy fit, if your worried go and get the codes read, or leave it and see if the problem happens again

Just had the same problem on the motorway on way home. Now gone so probably typical 206 electrical problems so dont worry about it unless you experience any loss of power!!!!

Thanks, having the codes read tomorrow.
It did seem to run on 3 cylinders during the episode.

Turns out it was the coil pack, all done today.
Now to fit the new front discs & pads.

Piece of p*$$! Rears are a bit more fun. The small screws holding the disc to the hub might snap ... I bought some spares and one of those snapped off when replacing it. I'll drill that out one day ... Luckily the disc ain't going anywhere with a wheel bolted over it!

You don't need them screwed that hold the disc to the hub anyway.
