shouldnt matter what other people think do what you want to do and if it doesnt look like you want it to simply strip and paint another colour

Do what you feel, people will probably say it is chavy but it's your car! Have you thought about doing them gold? Might look better than yellow.

I'd say drums black,c calipers yellow. As drumslook a bit overkill and tacky when coloured, and advertising drum brakes is kinda like making them look like something there not.

should rub down the drums first get rid of the rust before you paint them
