Hi

Newbie here, Bought a 04 plate GTi 180 last Saturday. Just wanted to know if there's a fix as the drivers mirror won't fold, the mirror glass will adjust with the switch.

Passenger mirror folds ok.

Thanks

Folding motor assy will be rusted up, common problem.

There a right pain in the neck to take apart & get working again, trick is pack the folding motor unit with Vaseline when you rebuild it Wink

There pretty easy to get apart, its getting them back together due to the odd rivets used at the factory inside the mirror unit.

Also had the folding control pcb burnt out on one Laughing
