hi I was just wondering how much would it cost me on petrol to get to Birmingham from Manchester.

It's all about how you drive it lol, I managed Birmingham and back in my 180 (116 miles each way) on half a tank... and that wasn't being gentle. So I imagine a 1.4 being driven sensibly would get much better results.

Well my CC says average mpg is 37
So to be safe say 35mpg
Journey is 80 miles
So 80/35 is 2.28gallons
1 gallon is 4.52 litres so £1.399 per litre x 4.52=£6.32 per gallon
So then multiply gallons x price per gallon 2.28 x £6.32 = £14.40
So £15 worth should cover it

Yes I own a CC and I'm neither gay or a hairdresser!!
