... working on my daughter's 206CC ... beats sitting in front of a computer screen or clients!
1) replace o/s/f suspension arm ... just finished that .. b*tch to get out and back in place, but by jacking up suspension and then lowering body a bit, I've just managed to finish that job in around 2 to 2 1/2 hours. I've found the key is to get enough space between hub assembly and balljoint so arm isn't under too much tension on the bushes .. oh and not pulling the CV joint apart!! That means pushing the strut up and letting the body down quite low on the jack so the balljoint pops into place. (I've got a low-profile one which helped!).
and then for the rest of today ....
2) replace the plastic tie-wrap on the n/s outer CV joint boot that keeps coming off with a proper CV boot clip. Then clean up all the CV grease that's been flung out over the back of the hub/brakes/wheel
3) swap out rear light clusters with Phase 2s ... they look so much nicer and I do prefer but bright brake lights!
4) see if I can replace the bulbs in the upper brake light .. some are sealed units apparently ...
5) try and get boot lock to work again ... just stopped locking a few weeks ago in the really cold weather
6) program a second key in
7) find out why management light comes on ... codes on Sealey suggest a cat issue .. going to see what PP2000 thinks!
find the blow in the exhaust ... it's near the back from the sound of things
9) finally an oil change
10) possibly going to bleed through the brakes to replace the fluid with Super DOT 4 (Castrol Performance but now called React I think)
Should save her a few quid!

Shouldn't be a sealed unit on the 3rd brake. Just undo the bolts on the inside and prepare to fight for an hour. I suggest hammering at the bolts from the inside.
Ooorrr, if you mean the light itself is sealed, just buy a new LED one for a tenner off ebay.

1) done ... bruising on thumb starting to go a nice purple shade! (hand slipped!)
2) done ... mucky job but easy. parts from panda-tools-and-products on ebay.
3) done ... nice!
4) it's sealed unit ... ebay led unit coming up. It came out fairly easily but the wiring is hard to remove because the plug is clipped into the metal and it's not that easy to access. The Haynes suggests tilting the boot up from the rear window as if you are putting the roof down to get to the light unit. I did it with the boot up as normal today.
5) the end of the actuator on the boot lock solenoid unit is bent .. and being plastic, is staying that way because it's probably been like that for a while ... so I've disconnected the actuator arm to the lock for now so we can lock/unlock using the key
6) still to do .. need to talk to Lee ...
7) P0420 on the sealey, "MM48P" "Permanent fault , catalytic converter ageing" ... doesn't sound hopeful. Reset EML and will see when it comes back.
8 .. found it ... it's blowing at the back of the middle silencer box.. gungum comes out tomorrow (sick of the sight of the underside of a 206CC today!)
9 & 10 ... still on the to-do list
