Been told the fan should come on when I switch air con on?
But I switch it on and it makes no difference the fan doesn't come on BUT when temp goes up to 92 the fan does come on and cools it down
Anyone know what the probably may be with this?

Your aircon system is low on gas.

Ahh I did think it was low anyway as doesn't seem to get very cold, does this affect the fan too then? I thought it would just come on still even it's low on gas lol

Pressure safety switch stops the aircon compressor cutting in which it turn means there is no need for the cooling fan to run.

So when air con says it is on its actually not making any difference?
How much would I be looking at to have the gas topped up?

Kwikfit used to charge £50 with no fix no fee. If your aircon hasn't been used for a while the seals may be knackered so it won't hold a charge. If that is the case you effectively get it tested for free.

That won't help because the fan works when the engine gets hot - Therefore the relays obviously work.
