Looking at upgrading my lasses car at some point..

I'm bothered that i'll not get shut of the current one though. Never see anyone here really asking about buying them etc!

Is there a market/following for the 138?

It's a shame they're not more desireable, really..

Might just keep for another year or two and hope that people may want one that's not messed with.

I know what you mean, have a look at what the 106 GTi's are fetching in standard form you can still pay up to 5K for a mint one.

They are a steal right now. I guess its a pretty limited market for them. My nephew is keen for mine but the insurance would cripple him.

Expensive tax and not amazing on petrol.

I'm sorting all of the problems with mine and keeping it.

A grand around here will pick you up a 1997 ford escort. Screw that.

There is & its bargain basement Laughing

End of the day 206 isnt anything special, chavs are ruining them left, right & centre, just have to look on this very forum to see the following they have gained now.

Just tell your lass she can just run the 206 GTI in to the ground.

That's pretty much as thought!

Agree it's nothing special, but it's not a bad 'car' really.. I'm hoping that when the chavs have ruined pretty much all of them our one that's a minter will be worth a bit more.

Only problem is it's only on around 55k so it will have some running into the ground.

Mines on 135K, but has decided to drop all of its oil out the engine somewhere. But is still going pretty strong. Once I get a few faults sorted I would like to stick it on the rollers and see what its still running.

Mines on 115k and a total bag of s**t.

Not really, it's a nice solid car. It has a couple of issues that need fixing but I'm hoping once there done then I can get a year to 2 out of it without any big bills.

Max u see them going for on fleabay is a grand and that's for a really precious one, It would cost way more to replace than you would ever get for it.
