Hi there, recent;y bought a 206 GLX, the car has a two button key but they do not work. new batteries, and have sync'd to the car, previously they did nothing but after reading some previous posts they now make a click when pressing the unlock button, but nothing happens?

Im sat in the driver seat (have also been outside a locked car) press and just a small click?
putting the key in the door and turning the key also does nothing to the central locking? just unlocks the individual door. any ideas where to start people?

Thanks in advance

I have a weird issue with mine in that sometimes, in certain places (Sevenoaks in Kent, and Lincoln Tesco so far) I lock it and it locks but instantly unlocks - assuming its some kind of interference nearby?

(sorry to not answer your query lol)

Checked fuses?

I think that's just coincidence, usually that points to a faulty solenoid.

Yep, just checked the fuses, I can hear a click coming from around the fusbox , should be number 16 in inside fusebox but while I was at it I checked all of them inside and in engine bay box, not one blown?
