i retrofitted a genuine alarm kit (one designed for a ultiplexed 206 without one, not bits taken from a scrapped car) and it was just a case of plugging it all in, running in boot/bonnet/ultrasonic sensors, wires to BSI and then activated with planet pug.

the siren goes behind the passenger arch/turret in the engine bay.

Best option is get the retro fit multiplex alarm kit for the 206 as it works of the original remote fob, they turn up from time to time on Ebay, got one new in the box a couple of months ago for £40 for my project car.

It comes with everything you need to fit it & idiot proof instructions including pictures BUT you just need someone with Peugeot Planet to activate it after fitment.

Peugeot part number is 9671 6Q & there £280 from a main dealer!

Unless you 100% know what you are doing with CAN VAN electrical systems, trying to fit an aftermarket alarm to a multiplexed 206 can end in a trip on a tow truck to a Peugeot main dealer & you bent over without any Vaseline while they empty your wallet.

You get the 2 wiring looms needed in the alarm kit, basically you just fit all the parts in the kit following the instructions & pictures.

1 connector plug goes in to BSI unit & 1 wire in to a BSI connector plug then activate it with Peugeot Planet.

If you PM me your email address ill send over the 8 page instruction book if you want as I have it on the computer.

It shows you whats in the kit & how / where to fit it, you do get a paper copy of these same instructions in the kit.

i also had 9671.6q and got it brand new delivered for £16 about three years ago, but i was lucky for once at that price.

i also got a proper alarm button and used that in addition to the flashing LED you get with the kit, as the only downside to the retrofit is the shítty plunger button that comes with it.

I already had plans not to use the plunger button & get a proper standard button & trim panel.

Was also thinking about the combined lock / hazard dash button with built in alarm led aswell.

Need to wait till I get a project car first Laughing
