As said they are for the optional extra of the glovebox light.

It is cheap and easy to get the parts and install one (the hardest part is getting the glovebox out which you have already done!)

Please Dont take any of my posts as written fact. They are simply my opinion and although to the best of my knowledge true, the information within them may well be incorrect.

Any work you undertake as a result of my posts is done so at your own risk Smile

For the switch and light fitting (inc 501 bulb) from the dealer it is about £8. It was one of the first things I put in when I got the car

633918 Switch £3.54
6362N6 Glove Box Lamp £3.74

My local dealer had to order the lamp fitting from Peugeot. Took 2 days to arrive, and would only sell it in a pack of 2. Wasn't a problem as the one in the boot was cracked so replaced that at same time.
