I think you mean the catalytic converter.
Four nuts hold it on threaded studs with a seal in-between.

It is normal to look leaning like the tower of piza.

i think he actually means the mat that goes under the bonnet to reduce engine noise

it secures the same way the bonnet vent is mate, with those black clips which the centres pull out slightly

hi, it fits in the deeper space of the bonnet and is fixed with the plastic mushroom rivets (as used on the inner wings etc). you will see the holes to fix it around the framework of the bonnet. Dave

I've out the 9 clips in I bought them from Peugeot and they are slightly different..only problem I'm having though is it sags in middle and won't sit up properly and the only way it will stay up is if I cable tie it and one broke today because it was so brittle!

I would but the heat from the engine would just heat the bond back up surely? I think I need to see one o be honest!
