Can someone please post a how to of removing the aerial base please?, my aerial is not removable at the moment because it's bolts are corroded and I have to replace the whole thing..

You need to pull the roof lining down a bit, then as you can see in this pict
The base has a bolt in it, there is just a nut which unscrews and the base should just lift off.

No idea why its got 2 wires But it came off my Hdi Gti

I'd assume actual antenna wire + a 12V line to power amplifier in the base

How do you remove the interior lining? I also need to replace my rear-mounted aerial.
