i need a oe air box for my 180 as im told air induction filters loose bhp , will a gran turismo 2.o rc air box be the same as the 180s cheers

makes no difference :/ give the induction kit a really good airfeed and you may gain but i highly doubt you would loose any :/

depends which induction kit your running
kits such as the k&n typhoon where the filter is behind the foglight or the enclose pipercross ones wont lose bhp only the open style ones which are under the bonnet near to the heat of the engine

I had an open pipercross filter and since adding the ducting and a cold air feed i can notice a better throttle response and im sure it feels a little bit quicker,maybe its placebo but who knows.Added some heat reflective tape,might not do anything but it looks better with it on.
Never had the standard air box so cant compare.

yes if your air feed is good you wont loose power.
if had my gti on the rolling road with just a sportex exhaust and pipercross venom and came out 149bhp.
ok give or take a couple hp..but still..had the air feed right behind my bumper,fully into the blower.
