hi
well, today was the start of an interesting day.
Had to change the clutch, so all went well until we came to seperating the link arm.No amount of pressure would budge it so, calling it duff after 30 mins was fair enough. We decided to take the suspension strut off to free us some movement, thus 30mins later we decided to call that duff and had a cigarette. Then off came the track rod end, and it started to rain, 30mins later it was raining heavier, out came the hammer.
So. needless to say i need the part number of the abs cover that fits on the knuckle.
We did indeed finished the fitting of the clutch, although wet and tired and the need for other part(s):
1.ABS cover
2.The hose that goes to the rocker cover (not sure its name but was brittle) Rolling Eyes
3.A pin that goes into the clutch slave cylinder connector (engine side)
so can antone please give me the numbers of these 3 as im stuck atm Sad

well, didnt go breakers as abs covers are naff and probably break anyways.
went to pug dealer,
abs covers£4ish each
screws/nuts 0.50 each
pipe £22 - was taping but it broke again/old and fragile so replaced

That nut with the white top on the gearbox(see pic) is a breather pipe. It also can be used for filling gearbox oil,and nut on side of engine for level.
Only 1 mechanic knew what this was Shocked
