Hi All,

Just wondering if this is normal? I just bought the car and a Peugeot mechanic/electrician has replaced the ECU with a brand new one because a detailer got the original one wet. (The detailer paid for the new ECU)

The problem I'm having is the "STOP" light (aka. Central Warning Light" is flashing and beeps 3 times everytime I open any door while the car is in 'P'.

Is this normal?
I know the handbook says it will beep with any door open, however I thought this wouldn't happen while in Park, and would only happen if in Drive or Reverse for example.

Guys, is this a problem? How do I fix it, or should I just get the auto-electrician to do it. They gave me a 1 year guarantee on the brand new ECU they just put in.

Really, even when in Park? I'm finding it quite annoying, eg. when a passenger leaves the car.
