Hi everyone, i really need some help the car has been to 3 garages and they have looked over and have found no problems except flat battery which has been replaced.
The car has starting issues where one day i can go out and crank her and she will start after 3 ish seconds then i could go out and have to crank her 3 times plus and even then she really struggles to fire. as she is cranking she seems to completly die then crank and fire. As i say this does not seem to happen all the time and the garages are not finding any faults. there really is no rhyme nor reason for this i can try when i first turn on ignition lights or waiting for the airbag light to go out.
I am seriously running out of funds with garage after garage coming up with nothing. Any help would be gratefully recieved

Sounds very much like a crank sensor type fault. No fault codes are logged because the ECU is waiting for the engine to start turning, it's not going to allow fuel/sparks until the engine is doing a minimum rpm, so it waits and waits, not realising the engine is already turning and doesn't think there's anything wrong
On a good day it senses the rpm straightaway and off you go
