Gti is roughly 120+ bhp, 180 is 160+bhp, The rest is up to the driver.

Personal opinion, no. As the money you have to fork out extra for a 180 is not worth in my opinion

But with the 180 there is less chance of a chav getting its mits on one, due to the high insurance premiums

Having owned a lot of car's over the years it is by far not the best I have driven, However I like 206,s and for the money the go for nowadays you will struggle to to do better.

180's are going for less than 2k atm, Its if you can afford the insurance and running costs.

For the money they're hard to beat, & definetly a step up from the 138.
A lot of people on this forum slag the 180 off out of habit, but the cars suggested as better tend to be dearer or FUGLY..... or both.

For the money you can get them these days, they are worth every penny IMO. Compared to other cars in the same catagory, they are way out in front in every aspect (price, power, spec etc)

If you want a 180 dont look past mine as i have just put it up for sale. Beware the sub 2k offerings on ebay as they are that cheap for a reason.
Upgraded from 138 to 180
