My two button key is broken.
The switch for lock has broken. It opens on the key but have to lock manually.
Options
1. Should i get a switch which will need solidering
2. Get a key from another peugeot (ie scrap yard) and have it coded to my car. I dont have the code card tho.
I dont have a second key. Its not the end of the world but alittle annoying.
Thank you
Abs

Personally I'd get another switch and solder it in to the circuit board as it is minimum hassle. Almost any decent electronic shop could do the removal of the switch and resolder that for you in minutes. You can remove the circuit board and give to them to do the work if you don't feel you're capable and still be able to start, run and lock your car in the meantime
