I live just off queens drive although moving to gorse hill in a few weeks. Going to fishponds in the morning to pick up a rear axle!

im in liden, so just near junction 15, im actually thinking of holding a small meet, when i get my car back, it would be good to meet some of you gutys that actually live near me Smile

@darrett78, yeah i seen a few about, most of the hdis are dturbos or sports, only ever seen one other true hdi gti in swindon and that was at swindon motor park, being serviced i think.

@ the others, the turbo is from turbo technics, there rebuild vibration reprot was included with the documentation, along with a whole 2 pages of instructions on how to change the turbo.

Hi ghosty, are you going to have a go at fitting yourself? Can't be any worse than cleaning the dpf that was a right ballache! I'm living in sn3 aswell at the mo,I'd appreciate your advice on something,pm me if u are around tonight or this week?! it's kinda urgent!

no mate im not, i have a mechanic friend doing all the work, plus oil change etc for £150, id rather have it done by someone else, that way if its goes bang i can take it back to him lol
