Can the dent be knocked out? Maybe cheaper than buying another wing?

It might be but if it doesn't get done right it might just be cheaper to buy the new wing. im going to go around a couple of local garages on Monday to get some prices. found a wing £25 free postage on ebay.

But then you hope the colour match is spit on as paint does fade with age I'd give it a go like Paul said what's there to loose?

You have to check if the wings are sport or non sport. One is more flared than the other. Depending on the colour, the difference in paint match could be negligible. 2 pack paint doesn't seem to fade as much as cellulose used to.

If you remove the headlight or arch guard you may be able to get it out with some gentle hot air gun heat and persistance

That or get a dent removal person for it and then buff out the scratches?
