i posted the other day were i thought the wheel bearing was casuing my wobble on the back and i have jacked it up at work to find out the bushed have worn on the n/s/r there is alot of side movement which is casuing the wobble

can you change the bushes on there own?
it must be eaiser and cheaper to do this than a new axel?
has anyone changed there bushes and did you use a guide?

would love any info to so i know what to do

oh dear...

dealer got a special tools to pull the whole bush out.

without that you got to cut the bush into a few pieces and then chisel them out.

not i that i am aware of.

it is just a hydraulic puller + adaptor for the bush

you can certainly buy the puller, but not the adaptor.

Put a socket over one end that is bigger than the bush. Pass a bolt through from the otherside with a head or washer big enough to fit over the bush but not to have an overlap. Put a nut on the bolt sticking out of the socket. (The bolt thread will be where the ratchet would go). Tighten the nut. This will pull on the washer drawing the bush into the socket.

Its quite a well known way of removing them/similar things, i've personally used the method lots of times (slightly different parts sometimes, but same principle) to remove bushes/bearings from motocross bikes, and trust me, they get seized in there!

i asked because i know that won't work or i done it wrong. there is no area for you to force to pull/ press out the bush with nuts, bolts and washer.

Yeah thats fair enough, i'm just saying i've removed many things that way when i didnt have the correct puller to hand.

I've also removed them using similar methods the guide on the second link you showed. (Seems to be a good DIY way looking at these specific bushes)

I've also set fire to the ones on saxos/106's and then removed the metal outer once the rubber has all burnt away. Sounds a bit pikey but it works!
