Hi gods
This is my 1st post on here though i did find my answer to my clock being dim so thank you all for the explanation there.
This is my in my view a really idiotic question i have to ask you gods here, please be lenient with me ... my 206 1.4 petrol 1999 does NOT have a radiator fan, does it supposed to have one ? as every other car i have had did have one. Also, the temp gauge on the dash, is this for the oil or the coolant ? Again sorry for being like my clock ... dim, i am reading through posts so i am slowly getting upto speed with you gods

Fan is IN FRONT of the rad, stand in front of the car & look through the lower bumper grill & you will see the fan.
4 dial cluster with manual gearbox the gauge on the right is coolant temp.
If it has an auto box OR its a 5 dial cluster then the coolant gauge is bottom of the rev counter.

At what temp does the fan come on, only i noticed steam coming from the air intake on the bonnet when it was raining and i was stuck in traffic on the motorway, it only crept upto about 95 though and the fan still didnt kick in, it usually sits at 90 all the time.
