Today i been out in the car and stopped it
then when i used it again the auto lights came on
but it was so sunny they shouldn't be on.
if i turn the auto lights off thats ok, but i want to sort
the problem out.
So what shall i check first, oh and the window screen is clean
no dirt over the sensor

Could be the sensor it's self is faulty & it's failed safe.

Are they the common problem? Easy to replace?
Also is there 2 sensors in there wipers and lights?

the sensor is on the rear view mirror, the bit thatsticks to the windowscreen.
