hi people i have a 52 plate gti, the last person who had it had wired in m3 style mirrors and cut the loom, i have bought a new mirror but not sure what wire goes to what had a look through search i can find what the mirror wires do but not sure on the door loom if anybody could help be much appreciated the wires are as follows,
(wing mirror)
2 x black
2 x brown
1 x green
1 x red
1 x blue
(door loom)
2 x cream
2 x green/yellow
1 x green
1 x yellow
1 x red
1 x grey
1 x green
1 x brown

The 2 black are for the outside temp sensor.
The 2 brown are for the heated glass.
The red, blue & green are for the 2 mirror movement motors.
You really need the wiring diagram & also look at the numbers printed on the cables on the door loom instead of going by the colours.

cheers mrbsi do you know what wire numbers do what as i could match up that way then ? want get them working asap as me and missus both use the car now and with having the baby in would like to be able to adjust when needed, if not i can get hold of the wire numbers at weekend if that helps cheers mate.
