Hey guys I'm thinking of modding my centre console to fit a touch screen radio it will be a squeeze but it should fit between the centre fans and heater controls, I was just wondering if anyone has done this?

why would the sound be any worse than a single din ????
had loads of them in my jap cars and tbh i find them better to use especialy the touch screen ones.

Unless you spend big money on them, yes you can get tht cheap shiy ripspeed ones the sound quality is s**t.

All im saying is a, lets say ...

300 quid alpine/pinoneeir* normal HU
300 quid ripspeed/chineese bag of s**t double din.

The sound quality is alot different. Thats all im saying.

i'm looking at doing this, with a android tablet, preferbly a samsung galaxy tab, 32gb memory card loaded with songs, put stereo in glove box with a aux in from the tablet, and the stereo running a amp and sub set up.

being android there's gps possibilities to, already got a spare centr console to chop up so i dont mess up one i got, just need the tablet lol
